NOTICE ON THE STATE OF ALERT DUE COVID-19

Dear Sir, Madam,

Given the Declaration of the  State of Alert in Spain, we first of all want to calm and encourage our Clients.

This situation is transitory, sooner rather than later we will return towards the path of normality that we all desire.

All of us at Dextra will be permanently by our Clients’ side, advising and accompanying as necessary. Both in as outside our offices in Alicante and Benidorm.

As surely you have questions and doubts about the measures approved Saturday afternoon by the Government of Spain, we will try to clarify, as far this is possible at this moment, the extent of the decree in your daily activity.

1. Territorial application of the measures: NATIONWIDE

2. Duration of the measures: UNTIL MARCH 30. THIS MAY BE EXTENDED.

3. Limitations on the movement of people:

You can only circulate through the streets, on foot or by vehicle, to:

  • Return to your living address.
  • Buy food, medicines or basic necessities.
  • Go to a health service, for example physical therapist, podiatrist, doctor, dentist, psychologist, etc …
  • Go to your workplace. For example, the delivery men will be able to distribute, the plumbers will be able to attend the calls, etc…
  • Assist dependent persons in a broad sense of the meaning, that is, elderly, minors, disabled, sick, etc …
  • Go to the bank.
  • Address needs of force majeure or a state of need, that is, urgent and undeferrable matters that, if not attended, would cause greater damage.
  • Attend any other activity similar to the previous ones.
  • Refuel vehicles.
  • All these movements must be made alone.

4. Education – Schools.  ALL FACE-TO-FACE ACTIVITY IS SUSPENDED

5. Commercial, recreational, hotel and restaurant services.

ALL ESTABLISHMENTS MUST BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
• Human and animal food retailers, pharmacies, orthopedics, opticians, hygienic products, press, stationery, gas stations, estancos, technology, telephone and laundry.

6. Transportation.
• Private services for the transport of persons (buses, taxis, ambulances, etc …), and which are considered to be a ‘Public Service’ will maintain their normal activity.
• Public transport services (rail, air and sea) will be reduced by 50%
• The transport of goods is not restricted.

7. Suspension of deadlines and  in legal proceedings.

ALL DEADLINES ARE SUSPENDED AS LONG THE STATE OF ALERT CONTINUES.

There are some exceptions related mainly to fundamental rights.

9. Sanctions.
The Citizen Security Law provides for the following sanctions:
o Minor sanctions of between 100 and 600 Euros to those who remove fences, tapes or other fixed or mobile elements placed by the police.
o Disobedience or resistance to the authority, as well as refusal to identify yourself, a fine of 601 to 30,000 Euros.

10. Date of entry into force of all these regulations. MARCH 14 AT 11 PM.
